December of 2007 was a bad month for wrestler Hulk Hogan. His son Nick was experiencing the grim aftermath of a near-fatal car wreck, and he had just gone through a nasty, public divorce with wife Linda. That's why, he reveals in his new book, 'My Life Outside the Ring,' he came home from the strip club one night, downed a cocktail of Xanax and was reaching for a gun.
But it was a phone call from his 'Gladiators' co-star, boxer Laila Ali, he wrote, that would prevent him from going through with it. She was concerned about his welfare after noticing he seemed "distracted" on the set.

It's really warms the heart when people show "compassion" for others it says alot about Laila Ali!! Kudos to her and kindness she spreads.
I am sure Hulk Hogan will forever be grateful to her.

Brother I can always respect honesty for we all are called to it, but your book was not inspired by the Holy Spirit as you may think. The Holy Spirit only and always performs and inspires to Glorify God the Father. Exposing or confessing individual sin accompanied by deliverance from that bondage written to testify to the Power of Jesus is one thing, this brings Glory. But the opposite, of which you've done, is of a contrary spirit. The church is the bride of christ He would never disgrace his bride publicly. The Holy Spirit is a gentleman, look at Rev.chp 3-5 as you'll see how Jesus and the Holy Spirit deals with the church. You've probably wrote this book out of hurt, which you suffered in the church, or some kind of indignation, but you channeled your heart's conviction the wrong way. This kind of work only fans and breeds controversy. Please repent. God bless you and hear the Word of the Lord Today.
