woman consumed by an undercover sex life. Hobbs pulls no punches 'In Pure Paradise,' as she chronicles the sexcapades of Milan, the owner of the day spa, and those of her affluent clientele. With 'Pure Paradise,' Hobbs is quickly becoming the princess of erotica. Besides 'Bona Fide Gold Digger,' she is the bestselling author of 'Pandora's Box,' 'Insatiable,' 'Double Dippin,' ' and 'The Climax.'
She answers three questions for BV Bookshelf about 'Pure Paradise,' scheduled for release on July 14:
You leave nothing to the imagination in this tale of erotica. How did you come up with the idea?
The idea of 'Pure Paradise' was spawned after completing my 2007 novel, 'A Bona Fide Gold Digger.' Picking up where that book ends, the main character, Milan Walden turns her upscale day salon into a cutting-edge sex center that indulges the kinky, baser nature of her affluent clientele. I know that readers will be tantalized and derive hours of [pleasure] as they explore 'Pure Paradise!'
Do you think women are actually establishing so-called day spas that secretly offer sexual adventures for women with some of the finest men on earth? This is the second or third book I've read this summer. Are women trying to tell men something?A woman's desire for raunchy sex is often suppressed. Frequenting pay-for-play establishments that are billed as day spas is the perfect place for a female to release her inner freak. Like men, there are multitudes of women who enjoy secret, no-strings-attached sexual adventures. An encounter where a woman's most decadent desires can be indulged without judgment can be extremely gratifying. Yes, I believe women are trying to tell men something. Men should take heed. They're being replaced with sex toys at an astonishing rate. Additionally, women are flinging their bodies atop massage tables, and being administered to by beautiful, muscular, and extremely capable pleasure providers.
What are you working on next?
My next novel is 'The Sorceress,' [due out in] November 2009. In this story, a nanny is being traumatized by the little boy she's hired to take care of. He seems to be possessed, but his parents believe he's autistic. When the demonic child conjures his fiendish friends from "The Dark Realm," the nanny turns to a hot-looking cop for protection and sexual comfort. This novel merges genres...paranormal and erotica. It's spicy and spooky. And like all my novels, 'The Sorceress' is most definitely kinky.
