Michelle: A Biography (Nonfiction) by Liz Mundy
Simon & Schuster, $25.00
Behind every great man...well, you know the cliché. She's been interviewed on '60 Minutes,' been on 'Good Morning America' and by Barbara Walters over the last two weeks, now it's time to get a real inside look (through the eyes of a reporter who was on the campaign trail) into the woman who will be this country's first African-American first lady -- Michelle Obama.
Simon & Schuster
Outliers: The Story of Success (Nonfiction) by Malcolm Gladwell
Little, Brown & Co., $27.99
This man with Jamaican roots burst through with 'The Tipping Point' and followed that with another bestseller, 'Blink.' In his latest book, Malcolm Gladwell attempts to quantify and explain why some people are successful. The reason might just be genetic, or possibly cultural and environmental. He debunks the myth that good, old-fashioned hard work is enough to win. Read this and find out if you might have the stuff of an outlier.
Little, Brown & Co
The Purpose of Christmas (Nonfiction) by Rick Warren

A Mercy (Fiction) by Toni Morrison
Knopf, $23.95
We must pay homage to our great authors, because there are so few of them. So Ms. Morrison stays on the list. (Check out her video). In these historic times, 'A Mercy' brings America's history into plain view for all to examine. Perhaps it can help us all come together and realize how much we all have in common.
Knopf

To me65240- I don't troll the internet, but it looks like you do LMAO! I didn't say anything about her azz!I talked about how BAD her book is. It's called freedom of speech! Just like you are doing on here. Her book was awful, and I DO NOT LIKE HER!She is a rich wannabe, unpatriotic cold person. I didn't twist anything, this is how I feel! She has no class and doesn't represent the average african american female. Go back to school and educate yourself, so I can understand your post. It's all over the place, subject hopping, and confusing. FREEDOM OF SPEECH FOR BLACK VOICES!!!!!!!

Honestly, I really think that BW need to stop saying that Michelle is so "beautiful", because she is not! She's inteligent, and classy, but sorry she's not at all beautiful! BW will do and say almost anything to to try to validate yoursleves because of their enability to meet the standards of beauty! Saying that someone is beautiful doesn't make it so, and she's a clear example! The words aren't going to change who you really are, nor what you look like! Most BW aren't even attractive...period!
